Researcher, speaker, writer, and leader working at the intersection of media, learning, civic imagination, cross-cultural dialogue, advancement and measurable impact.
About Me
I am an Associate Research Professor at the University of Southern California and a long-time practitioner working across academia, civic spaces, and cultural and entrepreneurial sectors. I specialize in the future of learning, cross-cultural dialogue, civic imagination, and research and impact design. My work bridges research and practice, helping organizations design meaningful learning and engagement initiatives, evaluate their impact, and build the strategies and funding structures needed to sustain them. I collaborate internationally and bring a systems-level perspective grounded in storytelling, community knowledge, participatory design, and strategic partnership-building.
I work with universities, nonprofits, foundations, cultural organizations, and mission-driven companies to:
-
Design research and evaluation that captures real-world impact
-
Develop learning and engagement strategies for complex, cross-cultural contexts
-
Facilitate conversations and workshops that open up new ways of thinking
-
Shape funding strategies and narratives that align values, vision, and sustainability
